Our business has two main goals in our daily breeding program; they are excellence in structure and  temperament.

We strive for early socialization by taking the pups out to the park and to the pet stores. This helps them interact with other people and animals. We stress focus on interaction with children. We want to make sure that are puppies get along with society.
On the discipline, side of breeding we believe that being firm but soft handed is the best method. This gives the dogs a sense of who is in charge and this does not give them the opportunity to develop their animal instincts.

K9web.com states: "The Shiba is probably one of the most universally appealing of all breeds[...]It is very lively and unigue breed[...]"(Holden 2).

K9web.com also explains: “There are a couple of different theories about the actual name “Shiba”. The first theory is that the word Shiba means “Brushwood”. Another theory is that their fiery red color is the same as the autumn color of the brush wood leaves. A third and final theory is that the word Shiba refers to its small size”. (Holden 30). Originally, there were three main varieties; each named for its region of origin. These varieties were named the Shinshu Shiba, Mino Shiba and the Sanin Shiba. From this origin six distinct breeds and three different sizes developed. They were the Akita (Large Size), Kishu, Hokkaido, Shikoku, Kai (Medium Size) and the Shiba (Small Size).
